Chris Whetzel has always loved to draw. He can recall crude portraits of family members from as early as what must have been three or four years old. The doodles in textbooks and on his arms continued throughout high school. Faced with parents determined to send their son to a college, he prepared for what looked like a promising career as an accountant. And thus, the stage was set until his art teacher proposed his application to a school in Philadelphia...

Chris Whetzel graduated from the University of the Arts with a BFA in Illustration during the summer of 2003. Working as both an illustrator and a designer, he has had work published in many forms as well as having taken part in several group and solo gallery exhibitions.
